How to replace carbon filter

Quick & easy care

FAQ

WHY IS THE CONDENSATE CUP IS EMPTY?

This is normal.

The condensation system collects moisture gradually. Depending on your cooking habits, humidity levels, and the amount of steam produced, it may take weeks or even months before visible liquid reaches the collection cup.

An empty cup does not indicate poor performance.

HOW CLOSE SHOULD I PLACE THE RANGE HOOD?

For best performance, position the hood within 4 inches (10 cm)of the smoke or steam source.

The closer the hood is to the source, the more effectively it can capture smoke, grease, and cooking vapors.

CAN IT REPLACE A TRADITIONAL RANGE HOOD?

No.

This product is designed as a portable, close-range smoke capture solution for situations where a traditional range hood is unavailable or impractical.

It is not intended to replace a full-size built-in range hood.

DOES IT WORK WITH MULTIPLE BURNERS?

It works best when focused on a single cooking zone.

When smoke and steam are generated from multiple burners at the same time, overall capture efficiency may be reduced.

Why do I still notice some cooking odors?

The activated carbon filter helps reduce cooking odors but cannot completely eliminate all odors.

Odor reduction depends on:

  • Cooking method
  • Food type
  • Room size
  • Air circulation

HOW DO I GET THE STRONGEST AIRFLOW?

For maximum airflow:

  1. Place the hood within 4 inches of the source.
  2. Clean the condensation filter regularly.
  3. Replace carbon filters as needed

DO I NEED THE CARBON FILTER INSTALLED?

The carbon filter helps reduce odors.

Some users may notice stronger airflow when operating without the carbon filter, but odor reduction will be reduced.
