An excellent range hood for cooking. It has several modes, including a powerful mode that eliminates food odor completely. It works much better than a stationary range hood. It looks very modern.
This fan solved the problem we had in our new house that does not have a range hood that vents to the outside. The range hood just blows cooking steam and grease on the cabinets above. I couldn't get a photo to show how this fan sucks the cooking steam into the mesh screen, but it really does. The grease catcher is easy to clean and remove. Sometimes it is half full. We have not had to wash our upper cabinets in the weeks since we bought it, and we were having to wash them down at least once a week. I do a lot of stir frying and this works great. Only wish I'd bought this earlier.

Works really well. Our above the stove microwave doesn’t do anything at all as far as a vent, and I got this to hopefully cut down on the room filling with smoke from cooking on cast iron and all the smells that linger as well. It is working very well so far. Nothing really collects in the oil collection tray but the filter seems to catch a lot, so I’m glad a replacement was sent for when it’s time. It does need to be close to the food in order to suck up the smoke, and it’s pretty loud, but I don’t see how you’d get away from that no matter what. Generally happy with ease of use and suction. So far so good!
